Valentines Day is fast approaching and is a time for you to celebrate not only being in a relationship with an amazing person you love, but also to celebrate youself, if you’re single this year. Whether you’re taken or single, you still want to enjoy the day and look amazing doing it, so I’m working with Zaful this Valentines Day to give you some style inspiration and show you some of the beautfiul pieces they’ve got on offer for you to pick up.

When it comes to Valentines this year I want to look feminine and girly, as well as still challenging a chic and elegant look. So my key colour palette is going to be Red, Black and White, with a hint of cream and blush to go along side it. This is because they are not only appropriate colours for the day, but I always think that Red looks beautiful on women and shows a real feminine strength. It looks perfect as a dress, jumper, a statement jumpsuit or just as an accessory to an outfit; with a pair of red shoes or a good old red lip.

So, if you’re looking for a red piece this Valentines Day, this Crochet Cami Dress from Zaful would be a perfect buy. Lace is always such a gorgeous look and so why not wear it in a full piece this year. It would look beautiful paired simply with a pair of nude heels and some bouncy curls, or create a bit more of a european look by pairing it with a loose low bun. You can see more of the lovely dresses they have to offer when you click here. There’s also room for some gorgeous red underwear this Valentines Day, and body suits are the must buy this year. So, this Sheer Lace one from Zaful is the best buy for you. It still creates a sexy look, but keeps it classy and elegant; which you can’t ever beat with underwear. There’s lots more gorgeous choices over on the Zaful website if you’re looking for a new piece this year.

What are you doing this Valentines Day?

Spring Colour Edit 2017

Spring Colour EditSpring Colour Edit 2

The transition from Winter to Spring has to my favourite out of all the seasons. I love being able to move away from the everyday jumper and jeans uniform, and into experimenting with bright colours and patterns. There’s something that so exciting about dressing for spring, as you know that warmer days, longer nights and so many adventures are just around the corner. So, today I’m working with Bonobos and sharing my go-to colours, for the spring season; and creating two gorgeous his and hers looks to go along with them.

Red- This never used to be a colour that I gravitated to or that was really even present in my wardrobe, however lately I’m loving it. I think it’s down to the fact that I have a new love for red lipstick, as it’s so feminine and classic. It instantly adds another dimension to an outfit and really pulls it all together. So, my new obsession with red patterned clothing is definitely inspired by my current favourite lip colour. This gorgeous embroided top from River Island is the best way to wear red, as I love the fact it’s still mixed with white and even though the two colours contrast, they work well together to create a beautiful look.

Spring Colour Edit 4White- Talking of white, this is also one of my go-to colours when it comes to Spring. I love how well it works with my brown hair, and it looks amazing with a golden tan and tan accessories. It’s such a feminine colour, yet it has a real classic vibe and can work for almost anyone in some way. My favourite wear to rock white, during spring is through lace. I love pairing the girly lace with a harsher denim, and creating a really good contrast. I honestly think that’s the trick to white, is to think about how you can pair it will something completely different, or you go for it whole-heartedly and rock the bohemian vibe’s.

Light Blue- I’m all about the lighter denim’s when it comes to spring, and I love being able to pair different lace’s, embroidery’s and textures with a real spring jean. They instantly lift your outfit and bring it bang on trend and in season.  I’m really starting to experiment more with blue, as it is supposed to one of my colours I should wear, and move away from my classic black jeans.

Rose Gold- I couldn’t go through this whole blog post without mentioning my favourite metal of all time, and that’s beautiful rose gold. It’s such a feminine metal, and really adds a warmth to your outfit. I love how well it looks with red, white, blue and just my entire spring colour scheme. It’s something different from the traditional harsh gold and silver, and rose gold looks good whether it’s a cheap costume piece, or whether you’ve invested that little bit more for a more luxurious piece.

Blush Pink- Finally, I’ve also been loving blush pink for ages and I’m just going to continue to roll it on into spring. I love how feminine it is, however you can mix it with a faux leather skirt and you’re instantly creating an amazing look. It’s a new neutral, and can almost be worn with any colour and in any way you wish to. It’s the perfect colour for summer weddings, a prom or even just a day out. It’s so super versatile and is a great shade to add to along side your classic monochrome.

Bonobos womens

This women’s look is a gorgeous formal take on my spring colour palette, with the red prom style dress taking center stage. I love this dress so much it’s even a contender for being my dress for my sixth form leavers ball in July. It’s such a beautiful piece, and creates a real statement being all red. However, the lace pattern makes it much more fresh and spring/summer appropriate.

I’ve then gone along with the rose gold colour palette through out my accessories; with these strappy rose sandals from Pretty Little Thing, and this stunning pearl earrings from Tiffany. I love how these have a crystal encrusted rose gold bar, which contrasts with the pearl and also ties my whole look together. The bag is a unique find from ASOS, and is a little bit of a statement but makes the outfit more casual. However, you could easily swap this with a formal clutch for a special event.

Bonobos mens

When it comes to the men’s look, I’ve gone for a much more casual vibe that you could wear on a day out or just to have a few drinks at the local pub. It’s super relaxed with this red bomber, from ASOS, that really brings colour to the entire outfit. Bombers are bang on trend at the minute, and are perfect to throw on in the spring when it’s not quite warm enough to just wear a short sleeve shirt. I love how this one is a bit more of a burgundy, which ties in well with all the rest of the muted colour palette.

To pair with the bomber, I’ve gone for a pattern white and navy shirt, with nautical themed sharks on. It adds a bit of pattern and intricacy to the outfit, and I also think that pattern shirts add a bit of fun to a spring/summer outfit. The navy shorts, also from Bonobos tie in with the pattern on the shirt and create an exact colour palette down the centre of the body. Then the bomber is there to bring a more relaxed vibe and style to the outfit. To tie it all together, I’ve picked a brown holdall. This colour looks amazing when paired with navy and would also be a great piece to travel with.

All Images sourced form my ‘Fashion & Style ‘Pinterest Board

Summer style can be one of the trickiest season’s to master, and something which takes a lot of know how about your own personal style and the pieces which truly suit your body shape. Many people can get summer style so wrong, and so I think there’s 3 basic rules when it comes to summer style in general: 1. Know what pieces and styles suit your body shape and flatter your figure 2. Think about your desired colour palette and which colours and patterns suit you and your personal style 3. Most importantly, you need to have a bit of styling inspiration and know how to transition your summer wardrobe pieces into chic season appropriate outfits.

After having a good few weeks of summer sun, and also a holiday in between, I think I’ve got my personal summer style nailed and know exactly what vibes I’m going for. If I was to describe my 2016 summer style, in 4 words, it would be White, Lace, Tan and Chic, due to my obsession with my tan sandals and dedicated to my constant desire to make my style a lot more chic. I’ve really been loving lace camisole’s, at the minute, because of how cool they are to wear, they’re chic and also really versatile pieces; they also add a bit of feminity to any form of outfit. However, white has to always be my go-to colour for summer and a something I can’t get enough of. White dresses and tops have be my favourite variety, however I do own a lovely pair of white trousers, which I love wearing as well.

How would you define your summer style so far?

I’ve you loved this post and would like to catch up on the rest of the #SummerSpecial series so far, you can go and have a read HERE.

What’s in my bag?- Zara

So I went shopping and this happened….

First of all I will get this out of the way and just quickly apologise for the fact that I am supposed to be posting everyday but have not posted for 2 days (I think). So I would just like to say sorry and also thanks for all the great feedback on the Zoella Style Post. You all seemed to love it and I can assure you that more are coming your way. THANKYOU to everyone Love you all.

So as you probably have already guessed, we have a new post concept again and I am sooo excited to be finally sitting down and writing this. I have been meaning to do this for ages and my camera was flat!! So anyway I got my camera charged up and went on a photo taking session for this blog post. I ventured into my garden for some pictures, so adventurous but I thought I would use the garden while I still can!!

I am just loving using my own pictures as much as I can because It adds a more personal feeling to the blog and the post. I love people’s own photography when I read blog posts so I know how you all feel. As much as I know I can not use my own photography for everything, anything I can, I am going to really try to. As I want to make this blog the best it can be, for not only my benefit but mostly yours, so you can all really enjoy reading it and keep coming back.

So this post is all about the few items I picked up from zara. Zara was a place I just never really went and in m local city it has quite a small window and I have just always walked by it without a thought. But one day I said to my mum ” Why don’t we go and have a look in there?”. I instantly loved loads of the pieces and new I had to come back and buy some. I loved the feel of the shop, it just has a totally different feel to any other high-street shop. It feels foreign and like a designer shop. All the staff were really friendly and the stuff is not only great quality but also really nice. So this is my new shop love at the moment.

So I thought I would do a post on what I bought but after seeing this idea on someone else’s blog, I decided this was the way to do it!!! It is just a great way to showcase a few items you have bought from a certain shop without doing a full on haul.

If you read regularly, you will have seen my wishlist post. About 2 weeks ago. This included a few items that are in this post and also some items that I have now bought. I did that post just before I was going to buy this stuff, so I was even more excited to get it!!

The Leggings

I don’t know if it is that clear but I bought two pairs of leggings, one grey and one black. These leggings are like the basics of Zara and they are quite thick with elastic on the sides so they don’t dig in at all. Also these leggings are a hreat price at only £19.99, because honestly they are the most comfortable leggings that I have ever worn!! They are just so confy and keep you warm and cosy, especially as it’s getting more wintery now!!! They are just something I think every girl needs to have in their wardrobe. They are just amazing, a must buy!!!

The Jumper

This was included in my wish-list and something I literally love. It is monochrome, so super good for autumn/winter and monochrome is soooo time less so it will last me ages. I just love how confy it is and is thick so will keep me super warm. Also with a pair of the leggings and this it is so warm and will look great with uggs. It was £25.99, a little pricey but great quality.

I hope you like this post and you will feel inspired to go and have a look in Zara. While your in there, buy a pair of the leggings!!

Love you all

Fashion Trend Of The Day

This trend has gone completely minimalistic and plain. Pull out your white items and rock this trend. After the monochrome trend every one re-kindled their love for white and this trend was born. The favourite’s for this trend include a white tuxedo jacket, white suits, plain dresses, lace, etc. Rock this trend and go all out white….

Hoping to see you rocking this trend especially in this weather!
