Dressing for the festive season is all about raiding your wardrobe for anything sparkly and maybe even buying a few new sequin pieces or two; and New Years Eve is no exception. It’s all about celebrating the last night of 2016 in style, and there’s no way you’re going to be rocking a simple little black number. It’s the one night of the year you can really let your style go and choose a piece that you will sparkle in all night; and know that even if 2016 hasn’t been the best year for you, at least you looked amazing in the last few hours of it. So, as this New Years Eve is just around the corner, I thought I would share 17 Sparkly Buys, all under £50…

When it comes to some of the biggest style trends for 2016, knee high boots and body suits have to be mentioned. These sparkly black, knitted Knee High boots, from Boohoo, have to be the perfect piece of footwear to rock for new years eve. They look super chic, elongate your legs and also look amazing paired with a shift or tee-shirt style dress. This pair also have a really lovely point on the end of each boot, which is bang on trend for A/W 16 & 17 and also adds a sharp contrast to a feminine look. On the other hand, this sparkly body suit, from Topshop, would be a great piece to wear if you love a good sequin or two, and want to create a more statement outfit to wear this new years eve. The high neck adds a sense of class, however the plunging slit on the chest keeps it super feminine and sexy. It would look great paired with a more tailored pencil skirt or even jeans, if you’re looking for a more casual look.

A really good dress is a piece I can never fail to love in my wardrobe, and I think new years is no exception. They create an effortlessly chic vibe to your whole outfit and are so easy to throw on and create instant glamour. This one from Pretty Little Thing would be the perfect piece, as it’s not only in a really on trend nude colour, but with pop’s of embellishment it keeps the piece fun and super party appropriate. I’m also really in the love with the long sleeves and the deep slit on the cleavage. However, is bodycon is not your thing and you prefer a piece that’s much more loose and comfortable to wear, then this sparkly blue, ombre shift dress from Zara, would be the perfect choice. The ombre sequin detail makes it a real statement piece and super easy to throw on and pair with some of your favourite neutral heels. The dress really does all the talking and the loose shift style makes it really comfortable to wear, all night long, and will cover a multitude of Christmas sins.

What are you planning to wear this New Years Eve?

My 5 Favourite Party Wear Accessories

img_28481img_28451img_28521

Party Wear has to be one of my favourite types of clothing, and I really can’t get enough of some sparkle and a good sequin or two. For me its just the best time for dressing, because I love getting all glammed up and having the opportunity to wear some of my favourite party pieces. However, no good party look is truly complete without a few gorgeous accessories; whether that’s a lovely sparkly clutch or a big statement necklace.

As I’m a bit obsessed with shoes and definitely with handbags, there’s so many accessories that I love to wear, when it comes to going out. However, two of my favourite have to be these sparkly clutch bags from TKMaxx and Miss Selfridge. The black one has a gorgeous iridescent rainbow effect, that glimmers in all different colours, depending on the light, and is really versatile. I’m able to wear it with so many different outfits and is a great investment in my handbag collection. But it’s not exactly the biggest inside, and I can just about squeeze my money, phone and lipstick into it. It’s more about how it looks than how practical it actually is. As, the silver one provides a bit of a bigger and more chic version. It looks beautiful when paired with outfits that are more girly and feminine, as well as when you’re pairing silver jewellery with your outfit. This clutch really sparkles all day and night, and is able to be paired with almost any party wear piece.

Shoes are always a girls best friend and you can truly conquer the world with an amazing pair of shoes on your feet. So, when you’re going out and dancing all night long, a really good pair of shoes is essential. This gorgeous black, laser cut pair have to one of my favourite. They look like they would be really uncomfortable, as they’re super high, however the platform actually makes them quite comfortable, for a pair of high heels. I love how they cover the whole of your foot and are an almost boot style; as well as looking feminine and really sexy.

There’s also this gorgeous pair of silver high heels from Dorothy Perkins, which have to be the perfect pair of party shoes when in comes to how they look. They make your feet look amazing, and really sparkle and shine all night on the dance floor. However, they’re far from comfortable, and are more of a pair you would wear when you don’t have to walk around a lot. A date night or meal out is when these shoes would be in their element, but not for a party or any dancing. They look lovely, and are one of my favourite pairs of shoes I own, but they’re just not suited to every special occasion and night out.

Jewellery is something I really love to wear when I’m going out, and I really love being able to finish my look off with lot’s of my favourite pieces. This gorgeous silver floral necklace ,from Topshop, is really no exception. It’s the biggest and most glam piece of jewellery I own, but it really does look amazing when your going out and want to look super glamourous. It sparkles and shines all night, and is a great addition to a plain white shirt or to just top a look off altogether. The ribbon tie just adds a bit of femininity to the piece and makes sure that it doesn’t look too over powering, when you’re wearing it.

18 Party Wear Buys | Under £50

18 Party Wear Buys.png

Party wear seems like a really relevant subject to me at the moment, as I’m being invited to so many 18th birthday parties and various other party attire style of events. I’m one of those people who finds just as much enjoyment from the whole getting ready process and choosing my outfit, as actually going to the party itself. Therefore, what I’m going to wear is always first on the priority list. So, as I’m sure many of you are in the same situation, at the minute, I thought I would share 18 party appropriate pieces with you all. I’ve also chosen items that are all under £50, to make sure that you’re not breaking the bank, this party season.

MissGuided Grey Dress | £50, ASOS Earrings | £12, MissGuided Dress | £35, Zara Scarf | £9.99, New Look  Dress | £24.99, MissGuided Bomber | £40, ASOS Dress | £40, River Island Sandals | £48, MissGuided Shorts | £25

When it comes to party wear I’m all about the sparkle, sequins and a good bit of glitter. So this MissGuided Black Sequined Bomber Jacket and Gold Tassled shorts, definitely fit into my partywear vibe. I love how this bomber is not the traditional type of piece you would usually wear for a party, but it gives a bit of a different feel to the normal party look and would look great paired with a strappy top and heel’s or even a dress. The black sequins make it really versatile and super flattering, on any body shape or size. As these tassled gold shorts, also from MissGuided, just completly scream partywear to me, and are exactly the type of thing I would choose. Paired with a nice white blouse or a strappy cami, they would amazing, and you would always sparkle on the dance floor. These are again a very versatile piece, and could even be worn in a more sophisticated and girly way, if you chose to.

However, party wear is not just about clothing, it’s also about those accessories and a good bit of footwear as well. These Topshop Silver Pom Pom Sandals and Zara Gem Choker, have to be two of my favourite items to pull a whole outfit together. The silver sandals are a complete statement piece and really allow the feet to do all the talking. I’m not sure whether I could pull them off, but I know they would look great paired with an all black, or even an all white outfit. The key with these sandals is keeping it simple on top, and let the party happen at the bottom. Maybe even pair them with the MissGuided Feather Clutch Bag, to tie the whole pom pom vibe into your outfit. On the other hand, a good piece of jewellery can really bring an outfit to life and will hopefully never become worn. This gem choker is the perfect piece of jewellery, for any party look, just because of how sparkly it is; ensuring you will always shine on your night out. It would look perfect paired with a sparkly number, but also as a statement piece, on it’s own, with a more chic and simple outfit.

I hope you’ve found a few gorgeous items that you would love to wear this party season, and don’t forget to follow me on Pinterest, for regular fashion and style inspiration HERE.

Summer 2015 Style Wants

Hello Lovelies

The Weather in the UK, without a doubt, has started to get so much hotter over the last few days, and now all of us brits are really starting to think about our summer wardrobe’s and those summer holidays which we booked back in January. However, it’s not always that easy to look forward to those endless summer days, when we still have plenty of work still left to do until the clock hit’s official holiday time.

Although this may be the case, I can almost guarantee that nearly every women in the UK has brought something for the summer season to stock up and slowly build their summer wardrobe. Even if this doesn’t apply to you, it definitely does to me, as I have a lot going on between now and the holiday season, so I thought it was about time to buy a few things that I have seen and loved from the high-street, and to start thinking about my summer style and what I’m going to be wearing in the upcoming season.

As I am beginning to plan my summer style and thinking about what looks and trends I am going to be inspired by, I thought it would be a good idea to share my summer style wants with you all; Items that I’m needing and wanting for this summer season, in order to satisfy my clothing and accessory desires.

All Pictures sourced from Tumblr

So, are you ready? Let’s go.

For summer 2015 I want:

The ultimate pair of sandals which are both stylish and classy, as well as being super comfortable.

The bikini which basically looks like a bra and pants that match. So nothing is hanging out or at risk of.

A pair of white jeans which can be dressed up in the evening and dressed down in the day.

Lot’s of rose gold jewellery, which will satisfy my pure love for it.

A few pattern kimono’s that I can quickly just throw on over an outfit to keep me warm and to add a little bit of something extra to the outfit.

The perfect summer floppy hat, which I can rock out with my sunglasses.

Yet another pair of sunglasses, to feed my addiction.

Some more of the new Barry M quick dry nail varnishes. There’s some gorgeous shades and I’m really struggling not to buy the whole lot. #nailvarnishaddict

To buy some jewellery and hair accessories which are a bit out of my comfort zone, but which I absolutely love.

And finally, to experiment with colour and patterns, which are not black and white.

Is there anything that you’re lusting over for spring or summer? And, have you already started to plan your summer wardrobe, or am I just thinking way to far ahead.

I love you all
