25 Affordable Homeware Pieces Under £25

During lockdown I feel like everyone is spending their extra time updating their homes. Whether that’s painting a wall, changing up some accessories or going the whole way and doing a full room transformation. This is the perfect time to spend time on your home, making it a more personal and comfortable space to spend lockdown in. I honestly think you can’t beat having a space you love and want to spend time in. So, if you’re looking to change up a full room or just buy some new bits for your home, I thought I would share 25 homeware pieces that won’t break the bank…

As you can probably tell about these choices, I love a good gold accent. This could be on the chain of a mirror, like this hexagonal one from M&S. This has a real vintage vibe with the gold chain and shape of the mirror, but would make a great contrast to a modern home. There’s also this gorgeous, round gold lamp from George at Asda. Their homeware is really affordable, on trend and these lamps would be a perfect way to add in a metallic element to your room. This style of lamp is usually expensive, but these are a great pick up item at just £18. Or if you’re looking to add a bit of gold into every meal or for a special occasion, then this set of gold cutlery would be perfect. They are super affordable, great to add a bit of opulence to your dining room and I just love the 1920’s vibe. Or if you’re just looking for a few smaller accessories to add to a room, then this shell jewellery dish or this alphabet candle would be perfect. I’m just obsessed with anything with my initial on, it gives a really personal vibe to a room, perfect for a living room or bedside table.

I’m also such a sucker for a beautiful cushion and so I had to include some in this post. Let’s start with this tropical leaf printed one from George at Asda. Not only do I love the green background and the beautiful gold detailing, picking one up will also cost you under £10. Cushions can be super expensive and I just think there’s really no need when you can them so affordably, you just need to shop in the right places. If you’re looking for something a bit more toned down, then I also love this navy bee cushion, from M&S. I’m really into this deep navy blue colour, and this would be the perfect way to add in a darker and more cosy tone without committing to a full wall or room. The embroidery is also super cute and the bee is bang on trend.
