My January Round Up

I can’t believe that I’m already sitting here, writing this blog post, on the 2nd of February. This year has already gone so fast for me and I’m so excited for what else is to come. During last year I felt like there was so many things going on, that I didn’t get a chance to really look back on the year and remember all the amazing things I experienced and accomplished. So for 2020 one of my goals is so be more present and not take anything for granted, I know how quickly life goes and I want to remember every moment. So I’m creating a new monthly series over on here just to round up my month. For me to look back and remember some of my favourite moments and also catch you all up on what’s been going on in my world…

What I've Been Up To...

January seems like it’s been a crazy start to 2020. It’s not a month I particularly like as its always so dull, everyone is flat after Christmas and hoping their purses recover. For me it’s flown by as I’ve been super busy. I started the month with a a trip to Stratford with Ed and a girly spa day with my aunty, which was really needed after the rush of the festive season. I also had lovely trip to Center parts with my beautiful family last weekend.  It was such a great time to relax and zone out from hectic London life. Then, one of my best friends turned 21 and so of course we had the most amazing house party to celebrate. I can say my days of staying up until 4 in the morning are long gone and it took me the whole week to recover. I’ve also had the chance to explore London more; spending time wondering around Notting Hill and have girly nights in with my lovely best friend/flatmate.

What I've Been Loving...

Last month was a fresh start for me and a chance to start getting back to doing some of my favourite things. I’ve really been getting back into dance and the gym. Pilates, Barre, and hopefully Yoga, are some of my favourite classes to go too. I’ve also been loving Cheer on Netflix and also so many other drama’s. Dead Water Fell on Channel 4 was incredible and would be perfect to binge watch on a cosy Sunday. Cheer just reminds me of when I used to compete in dance competitions, and I love how it showcases the drive and talent of cheerleaders across the world. Also, reading has been something I’ve really wanted to get back into during this year, and I managed to kick this off in January. I love using it to relax and just have time out to escape onto a good story.

WHat's Been Going on at work...

Well work over the last month has been pretty crazy. I’ve been super busy and really getting into my role. The start of February marks half way through my placement and its going so quickly. I’ve been taking part in strategies and seeing my teams vision for the season ahead, I’ve spent time comp shopping and been bonding with my team. January has been full of building my relationships, developing my knowledge, gaining experience and also having an amazing time.

What I'm Looking Forward To...

I’m looking forward to so many things over the next few months. At the end of the month I’m heading to Tenerife with my boyfriend and I can’t wait to get some winter sun, relax and have some quality time together. I’ve also got a trip up the shard and time exploring London booked into to my super busy month, which I’m excited about. I’ve not had much time to do it since I’ve been here, and so I’m taking advantage whilst I can. I should also be going on anther work trip abroad and I have to pinch myself every time I say that I get to travel the world as part of my job.
