As it’s finally starting to look like spring and the weather’s getting slightly warmer, I thought it was about time for a bit of wardrobe update and to add in a few more season appropriate pieces. I’m getting really tired of the same thick jumpers and dark winter colours, and I’m just craving a few more lighter shades which scream spring. So in order to feed this craving, I had a bit of a shopping haul and thought I would share my new pieces with you all.
Ted Baker Playsuit
One of the big problem I have with clothes is finding playsuit’s that fit and that are really comfortable. As I’m so tall, finding a playsuit that’s long enough and that is also not really tight around the crutch area, is extremely hard to find. So, when I saw this playsuit in the ted baker outlet store at Bicester outlet village, I instantly fell in love it. The bright, floral print of the tee-shirt style top of the playsuit, and the well-tailored, navy bottoms, are the perfect mix. It will look amazing on hotter spring days and during the summer, especially when I need a more glamourous outfit; and is such an easy piece that look’s really put together. It was expensive at around £90, however it’s definitely an investment piece and something I will get so much wear out of.
Light Blue Faux Leather Skirt
This gorgeous faux leather skirt from Zara is one of my favourite pieces at the moment. It brings together two of the elements of style that I’m really loving at the minute, faux leather and skirts, and really is the perfect piece to transition from winter to spring, and also through into summer. It was around £25 and I personally think that was a real bargain, considering the quality and the amazing fit. You can pair it with this season’s favourite piece, a turtleneck, when it’s a bit colder and you’re dreaming of those lovely spring days, or with a lighter, patterned shirt for those hotter spring and summer events.
This piece really is in hope for summer and hotter days, as the weather is no way ready for these yet. These tan sandals are just what I’ve been looking for to add to my upcoming summer wardrobe, as the tan colour goes with everything and they have a bit of an ethic and boho vibe, which I love. I can’t wait to pair these with a pair of denim shorts and kimono, for all my summer needs. What makes them even better is that they’re real leather and only cost £44.99 from the Clarks Bicester outlet shop.
Detailed Navy Top
Navy is not a colour I generally go for, I’m not really sure why but it’s just not that prominent in my wardrobe. However, recently after wearing a gorgeous navy dress to an event last month, I had lot’s of compliments on the colour and how it suited me; and so I thought I would venture into the colour a bit more. It was around £35 outlet price, however for the quality of Karen Millen, I think that was a really great price to pay. It has an amazing cut out detailing on the top half of the back of the top which adds a different texture to an plain outfit and also looks really unique.
