This round of The Best Of We Heart It posts are inspired by a visit to Paris, memories of my childhood, and a love for beautiful pictures.
Okay, I’m just going to put it out there, October was definitely the shining star in a very dark sky of a year so far. It brought so many amazing experiences and moments for me, that seemed like I had been waiting a life time for. There was no particular reason that everything seemed to come at once, but I suppose that’s just life, you go from having nothing to do, to having everything come all at once.
The first amazing thing that happened throughout October, by far, had to be my birthday party. I had been planning and wanting a party for my 16th for over a year, and because of family circumstances I nearly thought that I wouldn’t be able to have one. However, life was kind to me and really sorted itself out, and I hosted the most fun and needed party EVER! My whole aim for the party was really to just make sure everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time, which I really hope everyone did. But the main thing was, that I absolutely loved just spending time with all my friends and dancing the night away. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever danced so much in my life.
The second thing that happened throughout October had to be my school trip to Paris. It had been planned and booked for over a year, and the excitement and anticipation was way to much to even think about a couple of months ago. However, it soon came around, and it was one of the best experience’s of my life. I wasn’t just about where we visited and what we did, although that was good too, but it was really about the amazing people that went on the trip, and how many more of them I can now call my friends. It was just one of those trips I will never ever forget, but I’m so glad that I won’t.
How was your October, did you make any new life long memories?
My Absolute Favourite
Overall, I think that My favourite has to be the picture that is a view of Paris through a love heart shaped hole cut in a bush. It just reminds me so much of my trip, and even looking at the Eiffel tower now, I can not believe that I went right to the top of it and kind of conquered my fear of lifts.
I also love how this picture really represents how Paris is the city of love, hence the love heart shape, and to be honest, I would love to go back there when I’m older with my boyfriend/partner/husband because it is such a magical and romantic city. I suppose you could say that it definitely lives up to it’s name.
I hope that you have enjoyed part 1 of October’s The Best Of We Heart It. You can go and have a read of the rest of the series HERE. Also I’m sorry that it’s so late into November, but it’s better late than never, right?
