It feels like so long since I’ve properly sat down and written a really talky, and update type post for you all. So I thought it was about time that I pulled my socks up and got on with one! If you follow me through Facebook, then you probably already know a lot of what I’m going to talk about in this post, because I generally do bigger updates on there because there’s no word limit, so you don’t have to worry about fitting what you want to say into a 140 word gap. You can go and “like” my Facebook page HERE.
I don’t know whether I actually talk about all of you and the whole fact of blogging that much, I suppose it’s just a subject that I don’t touch on that often. But I actually find it quite hard to talk about. It’s not because I don’t want to talk about it, but it’s just because it’s such a broad topic and it’s also a hard thing for me to almost comprehend. I can’t even imagine 1,187 people (this was the number before I published the post), despite them all liking my blog and wanting to regularly read it.
I often feel like I’m living in a dream and that one day I’ll wake up and it will all be non-exist. I don’t mean that in a bad way, and that I actually don’t want to blog. But in an unbelievable way. A lot of bloggers say this, and I don’t know if they are just trying to be modest, but honestly I seriously mean it. It may seem like I don’t have any confidence in myself, but it’s not that, it’s just so amazing that people want to read and like what a 15 year old me writes about on her little internet space.
So before I get into what this post is suppose to be about, I just want to say an absolutely massive THANKYOU to every single person that has been involved in supporting me. Whether that’s every single 1,187 people that follow me, every person that is reading this post right now, everyone who like’s my posts, read’s my tweets, follows me on social media, and to the people who give me amazing comments about rachelspick and support me in what I love to do. To truly celebrate all of you, I will be doing a give away soon. I hope you will all get on board with it and enjoy it, because it’s well over due.

One of the first things I need to let you all know about is my first ever guest post. It was over on Shona Louise’s blog, you can go and have a read HERE, and it was a part of a blogging series that she was doing all about Fashion on a budget. Obviously fashion and rocking it on a budget is really what I’m all about, so I knew I had to be part of it all even though I had never done anything like it before. But now I’m so excited to do more and be a part of more people’s blogs. I hope you like the post and pick up a few tricks for rocking fashion on a budget on the great British high-street.
The second thing I would like to let you all know about is the new #Bloggersdoitbetter challenge that I’m taking part in. It’s based around one blogger, called Gemma, that has read various articles in magazines and decided that bloggers can do it better, hence the hash-tag. The first challenge was all based around Spring and I decided that I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and do something different that wasn’t fashion related. It seemed a bit of an easy option to just talk about spring fashion and the trends, and I definitely don’t take the easy way out. So I decided to write about make-up properly, for one of the first times in rachelspick’s history. I actually really enjoyed it and it may become a bit more of a regular thing. You can read the post HERE.
Finally I just wanted to let you all know about the emails you should be getting if you follow rachelspick. I recently realised that all my WordPress emails were going into spam and I actually wasn’t receiving any of them. So I want to let you all know that you should check your spam for the emails if you don’t already receive them, so you can all know exactly when a new post in up and if I update any them.
I love you all and I’m so thankful for everyone really.
