Ted Baker Bronzer, Mac Lipstick In Creme Cup, Mac Lipstick in Meltdown, Ted Baker Golden Glow Illuminator, Ted Baker Cream Eye Shadow, Sleek Rose Gold Blusher, Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in Perfect Topping
As we are now finally in Spring, it’s time to ditch the dark, vampy lips and uncover the more rose gold, shimmery tones. Something that I’m just loving at the moment. I love the fact of how those rose/gold tones look against my more yellow toned skin and the fact of how effortless they look. Especially on the eyes. They just catch the light so beautifully and really give you a gorgeous, kind of holiday, glow.
Speaking along the lines of rose gold, this blusher from Sleek is just perfect. Not only is it actually called Rose Gold, but it’s also the most beautiful colour and it’s so pigmented that you hardly need any on the cheeks. I think it’s such a great colour for spring and something that I find my self wearing almost everyday, because I just love it so much. But what’s best of all is the price. It’s only around the £4.50 mark and it’s worth every single little penny. It’s just like a product that you would expect from a designer brand, like Mac, because of it’s pure quality and basically everything about it. I love it and I think it’s such a must have for your spring make-up bag!
Another product that I seem to constantly love is bronzer. I love how it gives me a bit more definition and colour to my skin and gives a gorgeous overall glow. Over the last few weeks I’ve been loving this one from Ted Baker. I originally got it in a Massive Ted Baker gift set after Christmas. It was supposed to be £40, but, it was worth it, it had brushes, nail varnish, a bronzer, an eye-liner, a couple of highlighters and a few more bits. But it was even better when after Christmas it went down to £20, because there was so many of them left. I actually did a post on my Ted Baker Nail Polishes and included the ones from the gift set, so you can go and have a look HERE if your interested.
Lipstick also seems to be so popular at the moment, especially the big “orange” shade. I suppose it’s just because lipstick really adds a completely different feel to an outfit and can add a pop of colour to a really plain, or really dull outfit. Although I’m not quite that brave to rock the look all the time, I do love to rock it when I’m going out, especially a really bright pink at the moment. So to go along with the whole “orange” theme, I got my aunty that recently went to America, to get me an orange lipstick from Mac. Obviously in America Mac is so much cheaper and they probably have about double the amount of shades there, than we do over here. I’ve only had it for a few days, but I love it. To be honest,I love all mac lipsticks. I just think they really are worth the money, because some people that are on a small budget probably wouldn’t want to spend that much, but trust me, they last so long, are so creamy and moisturising to the lips.
So, what’s your spring make-up bag looking like???
